The only person I could possibly bring would be my DH, because apart from you guys, he's the only one who really knows about our debts.

To be honest, he doesnt understand how I feel about this place, and the people here. He just doesnt 'get it' if you know what I mean. He wouldnt come with me, and probably wouldnt be very impressed if I said I was coming alone.

spud, its ia's hubby here. I dont really get this whole 'saving money thing' (and i'm sure you all know about it too) but i love to see sarah smile. and more often than not, when i hear her give off a drunken friday or saturday laugh, shes on here hitting refresh over and over.

This is why I'm really gonna enjoy meeting you guys. you bring so much fun and laughter to sarah and i'm sure without you guys, she'd go utterly mad with boredom at home with the girls. but without you spud, the gang is incomplete. imagine steps without h or ghostbusters without slimer (in the cartoons anyway)... it just doesnt work. You know its gonna be great, and i'm sure that if your dh were to read some threads and join in on a saturday night xfactor blow out, he would start to see the friendship you guys all share.

Get him along. even if you end up hating the group (which i highly doubt) you'll have a lovely weekend off from life and its many ways of pooing on us.

We would only be able to come for the day because we cant leave the dog overnight, and we would have to bring the kids with us.

I promise I will have a word with him over the weekend (I dont really see him during the week because he works nights) and see what he says.
