    Storm,

I went to Oslo last year, I had a fab time, but if you havent been before, be very careful with your food budget as even cheap sandwhich is about five pounds! Meals in restaurants are extremly expensive and so is the booze! Mind you public transport is quite cheap and loads of museums are free!

Let me know what you think of the place!

On the actual topic, why doesnt everyone get one of the free bumper stickers Martin advertises on his weekly message, then stick it on their bums  and then no one will be able to miss each other :rotfl:

Right, I have a bit of a problem - I can't leave Tasha overnight, and we can't afford to stay over, so our plan at the moment is to come for the day and bring the kids - which obviously means I can't party (boo!), but I can come and say hello and do the beach/ice creams/donkey ride bit, and then Ryan can see the illuminations on the way home (Have they started by then? I've got it in my head that they start at the beginning of September).

Would that be okay? Are people going to be there during the day or is everyone just meeting up at night? If there is really going to be a beach picnic, I'll make sure I bring some beer! :D

(I'd much prefer to come to the evening bit and get drunk with you all, but I didn't realise just how 'little' Natasha would still be...lol!)

Well I was under the impression we were meeting up during the day and doing the whole 'blackpool thing' and then anyone who had to stay the night because of travel etc would probably end up going out in the evening for a drink!!
But how could you think bringing munchkin could be a problem! you know she's going to have about 20 dfw aunts/uncles cooing over her!!! lol

As far as I know the illuminations start on the 31st Aug. :)
