MEN B vaccine

Hi,

I want to get my daughter vaccinated against MEN B which is only available privately to her age group (18 months). I'm wondering if there is a cheaper way to get it - I've called round the local clinics and the cheapest I've found is £150 per dose and she'd need 2 doses so £300!

I've read that it cheaper if you get a private prescription (£95 per dose) but my doctor won't do it as they say they are already too busy and if they do it for me they'll have to do it for everyone.

Can I get a private prescription from anywhere else? They said probably not but thought I'd ask you lot of savvy money savers.

Or if there anyone local to Stockport/Manchester that has found it cheaper?

Thanks

Amy
