Do you need to supply 3 months bank statements of all your accounts when applying for a mortgage application or just the relevant one?
Thanks

We had to supply ours for the accounts that show our salary going in...
  • My OH and I have our own personal accounts and a joint account together. We had to provide three months of all three accounts. The personal ones had to show three separate wage payments going in.

You have to supply what the lender asks for, there is no set rule for the mortgage market as a whole.

If you say which lender you are using then you might get a more accurate answer

Usually one month, but they can ask for three.

I don't mean is it one or three months , i mean do they ask for all your different accounts. I have accounts with santander which is the one where my salary is paid into and bills paid but i have a Natwest current account which i use now and again . Do i have to supply statements from both?

Is there a reason you don't want to supply the Natwest statements?

Yes , my outgoings could be better. I have tightened up my outgoings in the Santander account for affordability reasons due to stricter affordability tests.
