Flavoured coffee granules gone very dark in colour

I don't drink flavoured coffee all the time, I drink it as a treat as on Slimming World, these are syn free. I used to drink the flavoured latte sachets and they are 2-3 syns free each.
I wonder why after 2-3 months of opening, the granules have turned very dark brown? Don't get that with normal coffee granules.

I've never used that coffee but, unlike you, I have found that with ordinary granules, they go darker the older they are.
well done on your weight loss btw0 -
Coffee does go stale. If you keep it in the fridge and in an air tight container once opened it will last longer.0

Sounds like moisture in the air could have affected the sugar and caused it to harden and change texture. If it were me, and it tastes fine, I'd carry on regardless.0
