15.8.07 what small dfw thing will you do or have you done today?

Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:

Welcome to the middle of the week!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

So, today I will:
  • check online banking and update spreadsheet
  • do clicks and surveys - look through Eagerlearner's clicks timetable
  • go to the library for free!
  • do some matched betting
  • have a storecupboard meal for dinner
  • not increase my debt in any way
  • be positive
  • think of ways to get debt free quicker - brainstorming pad at the ready!
Have a good day everyone xx

Morning hypno, morning all. Today I have:
    - done my finance practice, no signals so no trades (so no profit, sigh - but no loss, either!).
    - paid off in full the credit card I use every month.
    - transferred my Amazon payment into my savings account for overpayment.

Not sure how much more I'm doing today. Surveys? Probably. The odd phone call and whatnot. But much more importantly right now, am going to have another cup of coffee.

I started preparations for my savathon today by getting together all information relating to its components and setting up a savings strategy. Does that count?
