CCJ Reconsideration

Hi guys,
My wife just got a CCJ and is going to ask for the monthly payments to go to a reconsideration because it is within the 14 days.
My question is does she have to make any payment while she is waiting for the reconsideration ?
Also who do you address the letter to about the reconsideration ?
Thanks in advance

I would just address the letter to the relevant county court.
Not sure about making payments in the interim, I don't think the reconsideration should be a long process. If it were me I'd either call the court or somewhere like national debtline to get their opinion.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi
There doesn’t seem to be a definitive answer for whether you need to make the original instalment order payments while a re-determination application is pending, and I believe local court practices can sometimes vary.
If a payment is due before the re-determination has been finalised it’s safest to make the payment, but I think Tixy’s suggestion of contacting the court is the best idea as they’re the ones who will be handling your case.

I will call the court to see what they suggest.0
