I want to buy leather sofas - again

Hi,
This time last year I asked the same question, and was recommended the furniture village scala range - especially as they did very quick delivery, for I needed them by the end of the week. I think they look nice, and are wearing relatively well, but am annoyed that the cushions are all fixed and cannot be rotated. Also rather slippery to sit on, particularly when wearing anything man-made
This time I need more sofas, but have more time  . I am after something in brown leather, ideally a 2 and 1/2 and a 3 seater, and maybe two footstools too. Something square and modern, no curly bits or wood bits, or reclining bits. And not from Ikea, as I don't really rate their leather sofas...they look too much like they came from Ikea, and then my flats start to resemble an Ikea catalogue. (My general rule is Ikea PAX wardrobes good, beds bad, laminate awful....small bits from Heals or Habitat or Tesco or Asda, or it starts to look like a showroom!!!)
I need the sofa for two different flats...these are for rental so need to be fairly heavy duty.
My budget is fairly low. I think a max of £500 per sofa & stool...so maybe £1000 maximum. Preferabley less! I know the armchairs and footstools are normally quite dear in comparison to the sofas, so might consider buying some similar footstools or stools elsewhere.
Today I saw a range instore at Homebase (some Euro city..Milan? Madrid? can't remember...), of leather faced 3 and 2 seaters for £500. The legs seemed rather odd though, but the non-leather side and back bits looked ok. No matching othe bits though. And I have no idea how the non-leather bits would wear.
Any help please?

The furniture in Homebase looks almost/exactly the same as some of the Argos furniture to me.The early bird gets the worm but the second mouse gets the cheese :cool:0

Hi, we just bought a pair of really comfy leather sofas from Furniture Village, the price for a 2 and 3 seater together was £995 and they are nice leather, not the horrible sort that wears thin and tatty. They have been having sales on because they say their warehousing is affected by the floods, and they haven't space to hold stock as usual. We had no problem with them, and would recommend a look, best wishes from Jandy0

Argos and Homebase do the same range, I found a sofa in Homebase that I liked and came home and searched Google for the name and it also showed Argos selling it, hence them both doing the same ranges the good thing is you can try them at Homebase before you buy.
During my search I found this http://www.thesofaking.co.uk/about.aspx managed to get the sofa I was looking at in Homebase £400 cheaper this include a van hire fee as they don't do delivery's but the saving for us was well worth a hours drive to collect them.
There are a few marks on the sofa they are all at the back where they cannot be seen and you have to look for them!!! but to be honest you go and chose the one you want so obviously you pick the best one they have at the time.
It does not look as if the web site is working correctly at present they normally have a full list of what they have available, may be best if you know what you want to give them a call before travelling to Northampton0
