Tickety Split on National Express?

No one has ever raised the point that you can save money, by purchasing separate tickets with NATIONAL EXPRESS. The ethos is, that it is about the trains! It is not. I am travelling from Cornwall to Warwickshire shortly; the cost of a straight ticket was over £65.00. I purchased 3 tickets, catching the same coach connections, and it has cost me just over £36.00. WHY? An investigation, perhaps?

What would an investigation do? Find out what you found out?

Ive just checked a journey from Bodmin to Warwick( best guess here) this Saturday and it was £36.
