Evening all.
Been awol for a while, but only due to laziness and very little glitch shopping. Only shopping was a 9 hour marathon with VT, which we both enjoyed.
My garden is now up to scratch after many hours work. I managed to get a really good deal from Amazon on a rattan type garden set of a sofa, two armchairs and a table. I put it on my wish list at £300+, and bought it when it went down to £134.99.:D I've set up part of the garden as a relaxing area, with the new furniture surrounded by plants and a couple of big Acers in pots. I'm really pleased with how it looks and feels.
I see VT has posted about our cruise. It will be a first for me, and it looks like it will be amazing. I'm sooo excited, can't wait. Going to have to buy the lovely dress I tried on during our marathon shopping trip. I didn't buy it cos I had no occasion to wear it, but now I have.:j
I'm so many pages behind, no chance of catching up, but hope all is well with you all. I must make a concerted effort to keep up, as I'm sure I must have missed loads of news from you all.
I'm on nights this weekend so may be able to keep up if it's not too busy. I took flexible early retirement just before our holiday, and only do a couple of shifts a week now, but I'm finding so much to do. I seem to be busier than ever but doing more things I want to do rather than have to do.
Better go now, DH is making irritated noises cos the light is disturbing him:eek:
