When Wigan were in the Premier League (so only a couple of years ago), they were playing Chelsea at Wigan, and some Wigan-resident friends met up with a London-living Chelsea supporter friend of theirs; went to the match, then the four of them headed off to the pub for a drink. Chelsea supporter ordered four pints, was told "That'll be £6, please" and he replied (being used to London prices) "No, I wanted four pints" ...
