I've missed your fab lists. Hope you all had a great hol xx

Ah thanks Cjj. It was absolutely fab. My fears over the monkeys flying for the first time weren't needed. Littleman loved flying and all the little ones burst into cheers and applause on the plane when we landed... You don't get that on a mostly adult flight!

Then we were greated with a glass of champagne on arrival at the hotel;) and shown to our room...great start to the holiday
It was between 32-38' most days so a bit of a shock to the system.
The monkeys loved the pool...6 to choose from...

If anyone is looking for a child friendly holiday that is centered around the kids I can't recommend this highly enough. All the staff do genererally appear to love working there:) there is always something going on in the kids club although we didn't use it this time. But probably would in the future.

    a question please.

I've got an old Nokia 1208 - new and still in its box - bought years ago for points or whatever.

This locked to Tesco mobile but they used to also work with o2

    I've got a brand new O2 card

Can I stick the sim into this phone and then if I can what do I do next?

OH is loosing his rag with me, saying modern phones now have internet etc and it wont work etc - he is determined to go into town to spend £10 unlocking a phone - this defeats the whole object -
(and incidentally I hate going into town, its ugly and nasty, it will cost 70p in parking and OH will have to get sweets, crisps or a pie or something high fat and unhealthy from somewhere on the way back which will also annoy me :rotfl:)

You can try the sim in the phone . Switch phone on once sim is in phone and see if phone works. :D

Anyone got a morries £5 to use?
I've just been compiling a list to use one... I think I'm near £5:)

Persil wul lemon burst 50p. Shopit 40p
Heinz baked beans 50p. Tcb 30p
McCain lightly spiced wedges 92p. Tcb 20p cos 10p
    Icbinb 500g £1. Shopit 40p
    Kinder Bueno 59p. Shopit 40p
    Banana 10p. Cos 10p
    Iceberg 47p. Shopit 30p
    4pt milk 89p. Shopit 25p

    Cost so far £4.97...
    Cash back....£2.45

Not tested yet...just in theory for now ;)

just chuck in another banana to get to the desired £5

COS copes just fine with bunches of bananas and have been paying out 10/20/30/40/50p on single receipts where the banana shows as a single weighted line

(They seem to allow approx. 150g per loose banana)

Morrisons glitch on chicken kiev and chicken goujons. Going through at £0.40 each

Went to get a few of the chicken kievs posted here a few days ago at Morrisons Swansea Morfa store. To my surprise, an extra 69p is being taken off each item at checkout from an already decent £1.09, so the net result is only 40p. Needless to say I paid another hasty visit so will be clucking merrily for the next 3 months lol. Fill yer boots while it lasts. Proof attached

No worries was one of the Elite that helped me get to grips with tinypic when I couldn't post pics anymore think it was either David. or zippy. Bit of a backward update to IE in my opinion so much easier to just copy and paste. And I don't like not actually seeing the smilies when I am writing a post on here either. That was another thing after the update tweets helped me with as at first could not even post any.
