Does anyone use mosquito bands when they are abroad, do they work??? I usually use the avon skin so soft, but I have been bitten in this country using it this year, just wondering if the bands are any better??

I only know of one good preventative and that's eating a small spoonful of marmite. I start eating it a few days before and then try and remember to do a small spoon of it at night. They don't like yeast apparently

That only works of course if you like marmite

Virgin Media are putting up TV prices again from 1st September . XL up £3. It's okay though, they are giving us another BT Sport channel - why give these "free" when they could keep our prices down and sell the sports channels to people who actually want sports?

VM (and other TV) are really shoving their prices up now, completely unjustified.
