SSM I'm sorry to hear about your FIL. It is ok to be relieved, it sounds like he, and you all have been suffering :(

LS my friend had the same op (I think) as you a couple of weeks ago. I'd be happy to put you both in touch with each other if you'd like

Did she have bladder removal and mitrofanoff QOC? Even if its not the same but similar, would be lovely to speak to someone else going through the same kind of thing, thank you. :A

Not sure about the mitrofanoff bit but she definitely had her bladder removed and has a stoma because I *think* they respected some of her bowel too. I'll get her details and pass them on to you x

    Good Morning everyone :)

:rotfl::rotfl: that really made me laugh, unfortunatly even though they have passports I dont, so they will have to go on their own:D

been working on a feeding plan for lovely mare, as she needs to put on quite a bit of weight, hopefully before winter, and measuring her for a winter rug, as cheaper to get now :)

We were greeted with a fabulous glass of champagne when we arrived at our second hotel......photos later:D it's the nicest I've ever tasted. I had to be cheeky and ask the brand....expecting something premium and expensive. Couldn't believe it when we were told it was Lidl:T I must start taking note of those £5 off £40 spend vouchers that keep appearing in the Mail or somewhere. Honestly it's lush...treat yourselves:)

If you pick up the"Lidl News" instore it quite often has a £5 off £40 voucher in it. It did on Saturday :)

I would love to speak to her, thank you. They're using bowel to make me a new pouch, then either appendix if suitable (should be) or more bowel to form the mitrofanoff channel for me to catheter through. I hope your friend is recovering ok, its a big op?
