Fab afternoon/evening/night :D Greek themed BBQ - homemade burgers, flavoured chicken HM tzatziki, fresh fruit, feta, halloumi and raki

A fab time had by all, not a lot of food leftover and everyone said how much they enjoyed the food and that it wasn't the typical BBQ food :D

MG did the tablecloth - if I'd done it, all the pegs would have been the same colour :rotfl:

I witnessed some totally disgusting behaviour at the beach today. :(
A man and woman were arguing in front of a load of kids, then the woman smacked the man on the head and then it really kicked off between them.
The police arrived and the copper ended up using his baton on the bloke but the bloke managed to get the baton off of the copper and started hitting the woman and the copper with it.
Then a crocodile turned up and stole the sausages. :D

What do we know about oestio arthritis? Can you have it and not realise, have no real symptoms?

And what the procedure is for hip replacements - I seem to think they get you up and moving now within days of your op?

You know I said we were between crisis this morning - I spoke too soon.

Just had a text from my sister, fractured hip on Thursday, operation for a new hip sometime next week - they have told her its oestio arthritis
She has had a few random falls a few years ago - broken ankle - don't know if this was a cause or an effect.
    She is only early 50s

    Over caravan signal not good.

But yes you can have osteoarthritis without pain symptoms my bone scan in my 30s showed other areas that I still get no pain so far. And I was told fractures can be cause too. In fact that is first area fractured thumb when I was 7 that I started to suffer with excrutiating pain in my early 30s. Osteoarthritis was apparent in female line of my mums side so think possibly hereditary too. Hths
  • One of my favourite breeds, they are hardy and resourceful little critters:)

They are lovely and docile. They will let you smooth them as they don't seem to bother walking of to much. The Welsh mountain ewes however.......
I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
