Thanks Bubbs I can't believe how well I do feel I hardly dare say the words. I'm having a bit if a panic over my hair now though. For all us women complain about hair styles, colours, cuts etc I am starting to wobble a bit now:(
Hope he hubby is still doing OK.

It's a natural feeling Di and will take time to get used to it, but your hair will grow again. The main thing is to stay positive and get through your treatment kicking that nasty out x

Di what you are feeling is only natural and my DSis after 2 sessions of Chemo decided that she was in charge of her hair and once she started to lose a little it was time to let go of the rest and got our younger Sis who is a hairdresser to come round one evening .Candles lite ,Wine opened and her favourite CD on she was ready to let go and looked beautiful with her new Sinead O'connor look:A and that was 3years ago and since then has embraced a shorter hairstyle :)

One of my friends did the same thing nanny, well without dandles and wine. She just got the shears out and took it all off! Must say though it suited her.

Just found out that my knee replacement was £12,500 Nanny, it is quite a shock finding out how much some of these procedures cost! Well worth it though so good luck with yours whatever it is
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I decided not to wait for the clumps to come out and thought I would get it all shaved off first and doing it for charity makes it worthwhile. I just need to go and try wigs on but don't want one that looks horrendous. I've tried a few head scarves but as sincere as DH tries to sound I know they look daft. I googled pictures this morning of Jessie J when she shaved her head. Another problem is God knows what shape my head will be! When we were in the cancer care unit yesterday I leaned towards my DH and said everyone will think your the patient because he shaves his head by choice. We will look like twins next week haha x
