I'd missed this as been away, but just had a look at your link and wanted to wish you all the best for your treatment. A very good friend of mine was given a terminal diagnosis late last year for stage 4 of quite a rare cancer. She is having palliative chemo, and whilst the first combo didn't work, the second regime is having more positive effects at slowing the growths.

I am amazed daily by her positivity, her bravery, and her attitude to life. She is still here, feeling fine, and has just managed a holiday (another cruise fan, thats where I met her!) which she didn't expect to be able to do.

I know the Elite will be as supportive as they can be, and I'm sure you've got lots of friends and family around you as well. Thinking of you whilst this is going on and keeping everything crossed. :)

I'm glad you have had a good holiday. They are so good at the hospital I cannot praise them enough. Good to hear your friend is doing so well. Thanks for the kind words x

pleased you back home-go and have a cat nap now - some people don't get side effects- but whatever happens we are all here for you and take each day at a time x:)

    I've just had Di's catnap.

I think it's only fair that she goes out and finishes off the weeding for me:rotfl:

    Thank you. :)

    Thank you. :)

Oh bless you, was it under local or general? I've had a number of them, but they've always been under general luckily. Should be a thing of the past for me after my bladder removal, as if/when they need to look in the new pouch they will be able to insert the camera via the new channel going through my belly button! ;)

I hope you're feeling better now?

I have had it once under general but our hospital gives no anaesthetic ,I feel fine really but they have now identified which transplant is bleeding so just waiting for a date to get it removed, consultant said this a year ago but he's been dragging his heels :)

Hi diluvsdiscounts. Well done you for getting through today and sounding so positive and upbeat. I hope you allow those around you to spoil you and make a fuss of you a little though. You deserve it. Hope you get a takeaway tonight. X

I wonder if you would consider swapping some Fairy WUL for washing liquitabs.

I am happy to discuss the rate of exchange:rotfl:

No anaesthetic? Yikes, that sounds horribly unpleasant, you poor thing. :(

Hope you get a date soon, waiting can be one of the worst things.
