I'm fine thanks TM :) just RL is a bit hectic at the minute. OH has taken early retirement and decided to renovate. Started off with a new combi, progressed to bathroom and now he's looking at the kitchen! Wished he would just take up golf or something :rotfl:

Oh Chris that's so funny...bless him......

  • Good morning/night all.
Jeez - why do I always leave my A's HD until last minute? Need a HD as shoulders/hands bad so can't drive at moment. Still I've been trying to clear out my freezers so not shopping is helping there.:D

I added what I wanted to A's beforehand - all the glitchy stuff, then added a few items I wanted to MyS transferred it over to A's - all my shop I'd done previously had gone!:eek:

Added a previous A's order only for my ordinary & glitchy shopping to now disappear! Frantically looked up what I needed & deleted what I didn't want BUT had no time to add any further glitchy items on top of Udi's. Finally checked out seconds before midnight & shop is already showing as delivered???:eek:

I'm sure things used to stay in my Asda basket even if I added some from Mys?? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Ah well, hopefully I can get another shop in before end of month if they add my evouchers quickly. This was only my second HD this month.

I've realised that I've not been refunded anything I've returned since I started CC/HD shopping at Asda. I should have had 3 refunds. About a month ago I returned £18 worth of shopping (charged full price instead of the £9 expected) BUT got APG of £9.50ish on items returned. Should I just take the hits rather than them looking at my shops - all my HD shops are glitchy with Udi's & sometimes other things.

OMG - can I borrow him? That's if he's any good at home improvements?
I daren't let my hubby anywhere near home improvements & sadly I can't do it now, neither can he any more - thankfully!

Doors were sticking as I had just painted frame, heard noise & found him sanding down newly painted door frame instead of top of door.
I'd laid carpet tiles in dining room & stopped at the archway. Hubby got up early the following morning & kindly laid carpeting in living room & put all the furniture back - leaving a 3" uneven gap in the middle of the 2 rooms - he still doesn't understand why I'm a little upset about it!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Apparently I'm too fussy!

I'm just leaving it looking awkward at moment as we can relay or get someone else to do it when we have all the work done we need to. I have a surfeit of really nice carpet tiles, bought for a song off ebay, in the garage so no harm done really.

I have LOTS more he's done.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: He tries but I'm SO used to doing things myself - properly - he'd never reach my standards! Poor devil.
