End of the day, working needs to be a more attractive option than not working.

Make companies pay a higher wage and more people will work.. Cutting benefits will only keep wages lower. People who think that living on the state is worth it need to try it.

its easy to pick on the poor.. lets pick on people that earn mega money and the people that don't pay the taxes.

Good afternoon just got back from the Doctors for what I thought would be a straight forward appt only to be told I have to go to local hospital for a blood test and an x-ray on my foot :(and that he thinks I am a candidate for Statins:eek:

I also have an appt in London with my Consultant on Thurs for an ongoing condition....so have a feeling it is going to be one of those weeks:( am pleased I have a nice weekend planned with my DSis and a date with Mr Jones:T as I shall need it ;)

Nannylala I've been on statins since I was about 40  with hereditary high cholesterol. Never given me any problems however I was reading the Daily Mail one day last week and apparently it can cause aggression in some females  my cholesterol went down from about 7.5 to 2.9 :)

I saw a prog as to how they make this ham - I thought they cut it off the bone but no its climped together and then squeezed into bricks - not bought any since.

Ive got a nectar points one though for the Brunswick ham which is lovely - despite the programme. Every so often it goes on offer for £1 - its £1.50 at the mo so I am waiting - same ham is £1 in Aldi
