DM, was this for getting a visa? Or something else, thank you ;)

I went via Topcashback - got £37 cashback which has only taken a few months to go into the paid column.

You had to spend over £750 in the space of 3 months - this was sadly very easy - dentists, coal, new washing machine after the old one failed just before we went away, house insurances, cattery bill etc ...

I got a card for me and one for Oh

Shortly after we hit the target an email came in with a code on
“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”

I rather get 1 of each with the dove but this store is sold out. So I just got 10 of each x 10 with a boots gift card as I now have over 100 apgs and need to reduce it. Using the domestos wipes works good as a filler and the CIF voucher to.

Ohh and this store does not mind customers using APG's to buy G/C :)

For anyone who got the Hilton Hhonours card where you got a free hotel stay, I can report back to say it is dead easy to book, and they dont seem to have many limits on what hotels you can use. I have just used it to get a free £388 room in London.

I've got 2 nights to book - trying to figure out wether to do 2 seperate Saturday nights or if to just book a Friday and a Saturday together - I wonder if you stand a better chance of an upgrade with 2 nights ...

We are also looking at London - I was wondering about doing early November when the lights get switched on.

I've also seen a meal deal on groupon/livingsocial??? - for one of the London Hiltons - not dirt cheap but I thought it might be nice

But booking it at the top of the To Do list for this week

When I get too many apgs running I pick my CS wisely and put in an A giftcard and add to the balance for more than the value of the giftcards, then sometimes cheekily use a different giftcard to pay the balance :).

It then extends them out and I don't have to worry about the expiry dates.

Mostly I seem to be muttering to myself this afternoon but before I toddle off I thought I'd share my good news

I had a huge long FaceTime chat with Youngest son - working out in Hong Kong for 6 months - first proper conversation since he left nearly 3 weeks ago - all they seem to do is work, eat, shower, sleep, shower work ... Very few leave days.
He has had his first moderation and he was assessed as above benchmark and his boss said some very positive things on his assessment.
They get 3 meals a day at work, Chinese rather than western style menu and he says the food is far better than Uk work food, no upset tums through the change of diet, transport system is integrated and very cheap and he has got his Octopuss card - like an Oyster card - he puts 100 Hk dollars on his card - about £8 and it lasts weeks.

He keeps lathering on the sun block but even so he got sun burn on his hands - out sea kayaking - it's over 30 degrees but you soon adapt

Apart from that he seems very happy and seems to have taken to his new life very easily :T

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
