    Virgin TV up and running.

Virgin phone line. Can't seem to get connected. :(

I've told them that I don't expect to be charged until they get it all working.

Absolutely peeing down here! Im going to have to go out and get rid of a few slugs before work. My younger sister hates it that she cant call me all day when Im at work and yesterday kept sending me texts about Mum. I turned my phone off in the end. She has a successfull business, half a million pound house and no money worries. She even said she couldnt come more than twice a week as it costs her petrol money! When they installed the Phillipino lady in March I was really upset at how I had been got rid off and I found it a bit difficult as Mum was paying me and I had a drop in income. However as the months have gone on I realise I have my life back and I like it! I have not abandoned my mum ( although they keep telling me how Mum misses me) but I want to choose when to visit and its not like she doesnt have any care. I still do all her medicines ordering etc ( my oldest sis threw away the cream she uses for sores ( she is a large lady ) last week and she has been 4 days without it and has a bad sore on her tum! I also do all her finances.
Right decision made. I am going to carry on with my weekend day and if I think Mum needs me in the week I will pop in and they can just do one!
Well done! Right decision. You have to think of yourself, your daughter and your lives. It sounds like you already know not to be bullied into doing more again. That way lies insanity. Sometimes it is so hard to be firm and say no, but really! You have two sisters and two brothers(?) and they have already taken advantage of your good loving nature, then disregarded your feelings in the past. Enough! You obviously love and care for you mum very much, but isn't is much nicer not to have all the responsibility?? And you know that if she really needs you, you'll be round in a flash. Now is the time to enjoy quality time, with both her and your daughter, oh and look after yourself too! xx

    Good morning all.
    Hope everyone is ok.

Thanks for the new thread DeeDee

I'm having one of those days that makes me want to crawl straight back into bed. Little stink is off school as he's got a squity bum, the cat decorated the hallway stairs this morning with piles of puke and whilst changing baby stink a minute ago he managed to pee all over his face:eek:
I've had to give him another bath (which he hates) he's only just stopped screaming the flipping house down.
Is it too early for wine??

Anyway I've found a bargain in boots. They are currently doing 3 for 2 on revlon make up (again) and are throwing in a free nail polish as well.
Cheapest products are the little eye shadows that are £2.99 each. So£5.98 for 3 of those plus a free polish PLUS for those with the boots app there is a £2.00 off coupon on any revlon product available. (Hopefully it's on everyone's offers) so £3.98 total :j
They are sold out of the nail polish online at the mo (typically) but it will be available in store

  • Had to put this amazing Kindle book on here - you can read on PC/app if you haven't got a Kindle & it's well worthwhile reading! I think some of you may be interested. Instead of Monsanto, it's Wellcome Pharmaceuticals, big money, corruption etc. etc. etc. Stonking good read!

This is an extremely well written book that literally blew my mind. It's VERY thought provoking and an extremely good read. I had no inkling that HIV & Aids probably have no connection OR that up to 10% of HIV tests gave false positives OR that the 'cure' probably cost 300,000 lives as the chemicals used were corrosive to the body. How many of us would know this unless you've a close friend or family member affected? I started reading and after just 10% I was googling as I just couldn't believe what I was reading. Only 25% through the book and it's one of the best I've read in a very long time.

Conspiracy theory, money grabbing pharmaceuticals, fame & fortune grabbing scientists etc. etc.

FREE & there are 2 others by same author free too.

Ripped from the headlines of today's news, "Are You Positive?" is a fictitious courtroom drama in the style of John Grisham.

26-year-old Tyree Johnson stands accused of first degree murder in a prominent South Carolina courtroom. But his murder weapon is not a gun or a knife; in fact, there was no violent crime at all. His “victim,” Beth Ann Brooks, dated Tyree for a few months, and they made love more than once. However, Tyree Johnson had been diagnosed HIV-Positive, and the prosecution claims that Beth Ann Brooks was infected with HIV by Tyree and died some months later.

The defense, however, claims there is reasonable doubt that Tyree’s HIV diagnosis was wrong – that, according to numerous scientific studies, the so-called “HIV tests” are fraught with errors, and have been ever since their inventor, Dr. Robert Gallo, lied on his patent application. Furthermore, Tyree’s lawyer argues that there is no scientific evidence that HIV is transmitted by heterosexual intercourse, and that Tyree’s girlfriend died from taking lethal anti-retroviral drugs rather than from any HIV/AIDS-related illness.

Based on more than 500 actual scientific studies and references, the author claims that every word of sworn testimony is true and verifiable.

"Are You Positive?" raises serious questions about whether anyone has ever been properly diagnosed as HIV-Positive, and whether most AIDS victims are dying from the side-effects of the HIV medications prescribed by their doctors – all in a spell-binding novel.

    You be the judge.
