Morning. Been up since 5.00a.m. I have a lot on my mind as my sisters are putting pressure on me again to commit to two definite days a week looking after Mum. At present I do her shopping and t on a Saturday and Sunday and pop in most days aswell. Her lady who cleans and cooks is being asked just to clean etc and Mum is now having Farm Foods delivered.
My oldest sister has gone back to Geneva and the other one wants me to commit to one day in the week and one at weekend and even though I work different days and hours each week ( to suit me and my boss) she wants me to commit to a certain week day each week and one of the weekend so she can commit to 2 others.
Mum is quite well after the op although a bit sicky ( but I think thats the tube in her stomach she needs to get used too.
Mum has 4 times a day care so I dont understand what the problem is with other lady coming 2 days a week and us doing weekend. Even when older sis was home last week I went to Mums 3 times the day after she came home from hospital and then cooked a slow cooked meal for her and my sis.
Its actually making me very depressed. I am sorry to have to post about this again but its like a never ending circle. Im even thinking of selling up and moving further away after the wedding!!

I so wish I could strangle your sisters, don't they understand you are doing all you can!

Absolutely peeing down here! Im going to have to go out and get rid of a few slugs before work. My younger sister hates it that she cant call me all day when Im at work and yesterday kept sending me texts about Mum. I turned my phone off in the end. She has a successfull business, half a million pound house and no money worries. She even said she couldnt come more than twice a week as it costs her petrol money! When they installed the Phillipino lady in March I was really upset at how I had been got rid off and I found it a bit difficult as Mum was paying me and I had a drop in income. However as the months have gone on I realise I have my life back and I like it! I have not abandoned my mum ( although they keep telling me how Mum misses me) but I want to choose when to visit and its not like she doesnt have any care. I still do all her medicines ordering etc ( my oldest sis threw away the cream she uses for sores ( she is a large lady ) last week and she has been 4 days without it and has a bad sore on her tum! I also do all her finances.
Right decision made. I am going to carry on with my weekend day and if I think Mum needs me in the week I will pop in and they can just do one!

Do you know what I could write a book about my life its full of drama.
On another subject DS is being made redundant from his job at Sky but had a 2nd interview to work for the Harry Potter ( Pottermore ) website yesterday. He is a proper geek and Harry Potter is one of his favourites. Also the job is 2 streets away from where his wife works which would be great. He will know today so at least I may have some good news.
    Sorry to winge

Good on you girl, if they want it done their way then they should be the ones to do it!

Of course you could get them both into panic mode. Announce you are going on holiday after the wedding :D

Morning everyone! Looks a bit dreary outside - hope it brightens up later.

Sorry to hear Rose - you are still having a tough time but fingers crossed for your DS - it sounds an ideal opportunity.
