Was Portugal any good? still thinking where to take the wife next year on a holiday she wont know where we are going until we are at the airport.
We have been to Majorca many, many times, but Portugal just seemed to have a better feel about it. Lovely, lovely people and although the hotel might not have been the greatest ever, it suited our family + my parents beautifully and we had probably our best holiday ever.

    We stayed here.. http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1190872-d286496-Reviews-Adriana_Beach_Club_Hotel_Resort-Olhos_de_Agua_Albufeira_Faro_District_Algarve.html

No muck spreading.....the fields are still full of crops!

I have been searching the house and garden for anything that has rotten! I have even checked the plant pots.... there is nothing!

    :o:o:o:o:o:o:o
Oh yukk! Yes we have had this once too. Big black flies by the hundred. Sounds like a tiny house mouse or something that kind of size must have got in and died. You would only have smelt it rotting for a day or so, but a fly would have found it and laid eggs. By the time all the flies emerge you get a swarm. All the same kind. It may take a day or two but then that will be it. You will eventually find a tiny mummified body and all the pupae cases left over in a far corner. This has happened to us, once and we found the remains 6 months later, actually on top of a wardrobe. Really strange and unusual place for mouse to choose to die, and doesn't reflect well on my dusting does it? :eek:T:Horrible:o, but we have 3 cats that hunt, and we were away for the rotting smell weekend.

Usually a dying mouse will have found a tight dark space underneath something extremely heavy, so finding the body may take some time, but this horror will end soon. When we found the room the flies originated from we just opened all those windows and sealed the doors. We just didn't go in that room for 3 days. All the flies outside of that room were quickly disposed of.

Hope that helps. Sorry for the horror story, but that really does sound like that is what has happened.

I send you a warm hug. No, have two.
I am not young enough to know everything.
