M2M hope your voucher arrives soon. Re walkers, most of my winning codes I asked for in vouchers, I also requested quite a few be converted to shopiteyes thingys. Only twice (2 diff accs) did I go down the PayPal route. Oh my I can't tell you the problems I've had with them! I've uploaded 6 different receipts now on each acc, all purchased after the date claimed and all rejected as illegible! I tried .pdf and .jpg and they all looked fine to me. The last time I added a stroppy message to the scanned receipts at the top - knew this would get their attention as they never answered any emails.
I received a phone call earlier saying they were in the process of sorting out all the problems they are having . Re DHs claim, she said that his had now expired! I said I don't think so, he's been trying to claim it for the past 8 days and that's not his fault, she agreed and said she'd get on to the PayPal dept. On my acc she kept saying it had been paid, I said it defo hadn't. Then she said oh you asked for shopiteyes, I said that was a different code. She then went through all the claims I'd made against that email add, eventually she said oh well I'll ask them to look into this too. It's only £8 total but it's not the point.
Would never bother going directly through the PayPal route again as it's been so much hassle.
Got a nice fat £9+ APG from a womble this morning plus another £4.50 from cash back which has made up for Walkers hass0 -

Had a phone call from 'microsoft technical dept' Yeah Right!
Kept the 'lady' on the phone for at least 30mins while I found the start button etc. - where did I put it?:D
Repeatedly asked if she was from Microsoft & was repeatedly told it was their tech dept that would help sort out the problems they had discovered.
Then finally after she'd shown me all my errors and asked me to put in https://www.onesupport.me into my run screen I declined & told her I thought she was the scum of the earth trying to con people like this.
I put the phone down a few times but obviously they expect this if they get someone not savvy on the computer.
If you lot get the call - take their time up as when they are with you they can't con someone else less savvy.:T:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Afternoon, back from DS1s school play. An hour in a hot stuffy hall with DS2 on my knee. Arrived 20 minutes before the start and already most chairs gone. Can tell I'm a rookie still :rotfl: Next year i'll know
At least they let the children home early with us which avoided hanging around until 3.15. Think DS1 will need a nap. He was yawning through his song and he'll be there til after bedtime tonight.
Diluvsdiscounts, good on you for braving the shave. Take that control back :T I got a wig but rarely wore it. Just had lots of hatsDS2 was a baby and after he pulled my wig off in Costa I only bothered a couple of times. Wishing you the best of luck with your treatment. The Elite were a fab support to me as I'm sure they'll be to you x
Rhos, sorry to read you've been having a rubbish time. How spiteful of somebody. Hope you manage to get everything sorted x♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

I have a loudspeaker set up ready to go for these (and many other) cold callers.
I speak very softly for a while to make sure they are listening carefully.
