Has anyone made a chocololate cake with beetroot in? I've got quie a few beetroot in the garden as the lady next door gave me a load of plants. Trouble is DH won't eat it and it's a lot of faff to prepare just for me, so trying to find a way I can use it in disguise and just wondering whether the taste would still come through in a cake.

I don't think it does but I've never eaten it before. Have you tried to google the question? Should be interesting though, I love beetroot and love chocolate cake :)

Evening folks, I've learnt to my cost, that you are not allowed to add 2 e vouchers of the same value to the same order! Probably common knowledge to most/all of you :)

    Why not i have before:cool:

    Evening all..

Paid a trip to my local to see if one of our favourite triggers still works.

    118io43.jpg

Despite my pic making it look like it is in the 3 for £5 offer, it is not picked up, making the 2 x Sanex deodorants compare at full price.

    Apg picks up A v M £6.38 v £2.98 returning £3.70 and A v T £6.38 v £3.18 returning £3.52.

There might be other decent comparisons in the 3 for £5 offer, I just went with what looked respectable for me..:D

    Here's the A v M..

0.02x ASDA Loose Broccoli (PER KG) £0.02 N/A
    0.08x ASDA Onions (PER KG) £0.06 £0.06
1x Swizzels Refreshers Chew Bar (SINGLE) £0.10 N/A
    1x Haribo Starmix (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
0.02x ASDA Loose Carrots (PER KG) £0.02 £0.01
    1x MAOAM Sour Giant Stripes Cola & Lemon Flavour (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
    2x Sanex Dermo Active Control 24H Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (250ML) £6.38 £2.98

    And the A v T..

0.02x ASDA Loose Broccoli (PER KG) £0.02 £0.02
    0.08x ASDA Onions (PER KG) £0.06 £0.06
1x Swizzels Refreshers Chew Bar (SINGLE) £0.10 N/A
    1x Haribo Starmix (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
0.02x ASDA Loose Carrots (PER KG) £0.02 £0.01
    1x MAOAM Sour Giant Stripes Cola & Lemon Flavour (1PK) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
    2x Sanex Dermo Active Control 24H Anti-Perspirant Deodorant (250ML) £6.38 £3.18

Please can you tell me if above deod is mens or is womens working as well Thanks

It gives it a tang but it's not obvious, depends on the quality of the cocoa. Hello albeit briefly :)

I've read some posts about e-vouchers disappearing.

    Do we know why?
