In need of money - out of ideas

I just found myself (and my partner) in a really awkward situation. Long story short, my partner is in an IVA, he's in his last year and things went well until last month when he told me he has a ground rent bill and a quarterly gas, electricity and water bill he can not pay. I wasn't working then and since this is only my second year in the UK I can not get a loan. Not from a bank anyways. (I don't have enough credit history for a loan) I have been thinking about payday loans etc but 200 pounds won't help me. Also the interest is crazy.
Is there any way I can find a lender? I'm back to work, I would be able to repay it in monthly instalments. The other issue is... We both get payed on the last day of the month, it's the 6th of July and we don't know how we will feed ourselves. I don't have any family in the UK, all my friends are students or having minimum wage jobs and my partner's brother (the only family he has left) wasn't very helpful....

Asking your own bank will probably be the only way.

It's probably going to be a case of living out of cupboards for the next month, paying what you can and arranging to pay the rest next month.

Any way you can get an advance from your employer?

Theres options for the food issue, google food banks.

Maybe the local church could help with the food issue.

please avoid payday loans-bad bad news. Do you both work? if so can you get an advance of your wages? same as a payday loan but without the massive interest rate.

Anything you can sell quickly? Gold, Xbox/PS4?

Also try the "old-style moneysaving" boards for food ideas. Give them a list of what you have in the cupboards/freezer and how much you actually have to spend on food and I'll bet someone will be able to make some suggestions - I'm always amazed at how creative those guys get!

My partner can't, I might try but it's a new job so not sure. He already called the property managment and arranged to start paying the bill off next month now the only concern is the ither bill because he couldn't do anything with that. Yet.

I could sell my phone but would need to buy something cheaper, not much money left from that then.... The only thing that would actually help is my laptop but I use that for work so if I sell it I can't work...
I never thought I would end up in a situation like this. It just feels hopeless.

I would imagine that your OH could drag payment of the ground rent bill out for a decent amount of time without too much trouble.
