salary sacrifice on two incomes?

Hello,
My situation is that I am an apprentice earning 13,750 before tax with a part time job earning 5,000 a year before tax. My main employer runs a good salary sacrifice scheme that would entitle me to a new car with insurance and road tax paid for etc. However you can't bring your salary below the minimum wage, so on just my main employers wage I cant even get a dacia without knocking myself below minimum wage.
My question is, can my main employer take my second job into account bumping my annual salary up to 18750 or not?
Many thanks and I hope I've posted in the right (edit) forum.

The answer is no your employer can't take your other income into account.
But - how old are you ? The NMW is different for apprentices aged under 19.Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............0 -
I'm 22 and just starting my second year so the normal national minimum wage will apply to me now.
Thankyou for the reply, I feared that would be the answer.0
