Hi everyone
Can anyone suggest a good insurance broker who can give a competitive price for tractors.
This years renewal notice is extortionate!
Kind regards

Try Bluesky Insurance.. Covers Everyone!! Mind you more like Greysky the last 3 months.. OK Old Joke!!
Not meaning offend but is this a "hobby" tractor? ie not part of a larger farming business. I would have thought NFU would have been the best bet too!! I'd imagine you'd be a bit limited in who would cover you on this. Tried Quinn Direct?? (Mr Quinn seems to have his fingers in a lot of pies)Live, Love & Laugh A Lot!0 -
Hi Colin
Yes they are tractors belonging to our farm business. It was cheaper last year to insure them in a separate policy rather than have them included in an "all in farmers policy"....public liability, produce liability etc.
I tried Quinn Direct and they were £400 more than our renewal quote!!
I have since heard that up to last year there were only TWO insurance companies who would insure tractors here.
Today I spoke to another insurance broker and he has told me that some of the major insurance companies have not entered the market and there are FIVE now seeking business.
I will let you know if this insurance broker I have spoken with comes up "trumps"...smiles
Kind regards
