Hi
We're in the process of applying for a mortgage through the Halifax after being made a mortgage offer by the principality that was £6000 less than we need to borrow and took them 5 weeks to decide!
My question is, does anyone have any recent experience with getting a mortgage through the Halifax and any advise on speeding up the process?
We already have an agreement in principle and going via a broker

Typically Halifax gets from application to offer in a week to ten days, so not much speeding up is needed.I am a mortgage broker.
