Distance selling regulations

Hello everyone,

I wondered if anyone had encountered the same problem as me with distance selling when you get the item delivered to a store. I recently did this with French connection. It was delivered to store on th 1/6 but I didn't collect until 15/6. When I tried to return it a few days later they told me I couldn't get a refund because the 14 days had expired (actually before I had even collected the delivery). This cannot be right surely?
