75% ltv btl

Hi All,

I am currently reviewing Natwest's 75% LTV BTL at 2.79% Mortgage.

Does anyone know of any better deals ?

The reason I opted to consider Natwest was because I rent out my property at £975 per month and live with my parents, it's currently on a residential mortgage with Bank of Ireland (with consent to let) and I am living with my parents and wanted a deal where I didn't need an additional property.

Looking forward to your infinite wisdom

Amit

RBS buy-to-let mortgages are currently cheaper than Natwest ones.

What are you hoping to achieve ?
You have consent to let, You have 75% LTV
Are you looking at buying another property ?
  • BoI will renew indefinitely on C2L at your current rate as long as you keep paying their £200 fee each year. Although their SVR and old fixes probably aren't as attractive as the ones you are looking at.
    Thinking critically since 1996....
  • Thank you all, at the moment I pay £850.00 a month for my mortgage and looking to pay less and hoping there are better deals out there. Yes I could stay with bank of ireland but the SVR of 4.99 is quite exorbitant

You are looking at 2% fee and other costs to move to a BTL and rates are normally higher than residential mortgages.
  • Thanks - As much as I could probably get away with getting a residential mortgage, it's not the most ethical thing to do, so will do the right thing and go BTL, even though it probably is not the most cost effective
