Typhoo tea bags are again on buy one get one free at tesco, £2.38 for two 160 bag packs - mine have a use by date of October 2008 and the £1 coupons have to be used by the end of December. My store had a huge display but only one tray had the special flashed packs with £1 coupons on the side.
I stockpiled these when thye had the same offer at Morrisons and we were down to the last four packs, used for home and work.

Thanks for this Mary - I saw them in my local Tescos today and picked up the last 2 packs - because the packs show there is money off on the flashing they were easy to spot.

I got some of these over the w/e for OH at work. Used one of the coupons today, no problem, SA used the handheld scanner thingy as the coupon had a fold in the barcode. * Note to self to see if OH likes the T, could get some more for the coupons next time  *🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳0

Does the coupon peel off the package, or do you need to use scissors to get the coupon?
Last time there was a similar offer, I brought my scissors along with me to the till (the safe kind made for children) and the SA let me cut out my coupons and use them in the same transaction!

You will definately need scissors for this one, it is part of the foil packaging, on the side. I have swiped a tiny pair of scissors from my DDs stationery kit, it now lives in my handbag in case I need to cut out coupons from newspapers/mags in a hurry when not at home.

that's one way to recognise MSErs, we all have a small pair of scissors in the car or in handbag.
