OK, final question (I hope!). My options have been narrowed by the fact I need to get them by Tuesday morning, which effectively rules out online ordering.
    Are these OK:

    Thanks for any advice :)

If you order from Light Rabbit you will get it by Tuesday. Just Google lightrabbit kitchen. 5 year warranty and 90 day returns which I haven't seen elsewhere.

    Good luck

Thanks, but I need them here for 8am on Tuesday to avoid any suggestion that we are holding the electricians up. Is there anything wrong with the Aurora ones I have posted above?

You are still better with the open cage type. LEDS still produce heat and will fail prematurely in a sealed can type. Your local electrical stocking should have the ansell on the shelf

Thanks, no idea where my local electrical stockist is! Will try to find out. Are those Screwfix ones a definite no?

I would suggest standard fire rated fittings and decent LED GU10 lamps

If you use LED fittings the lamps can not be replaced, if you use standard fittings with LED lamps then it isn't a problem

I would suggest using Aurora, Robus or Sylvania fittings for quality
    baldly going on...
