I bought a £10 or so jacket from Wickes or somewhere and added it to our tank. Made an instant difference to heat loss. Certainly worth the small investment even though they don't look that great and are a bit of a pain to fit round pipes etc. Our airing cupboard is now "cold" over the summer when the CGH is off - so cold that my wife complains that it no longer does its job for newly washed clothes...0
