70s Fancy Dress

My friend is having a 70s fancy dress & I was thinking of going as a hippie. I was wondering if the following top is 70s hippie style:

To my mind (having lived through it), hippy is more sixties than seventies.

for seventies I think glam rock (platform shoes, tank tops, glitter and lurex) or punk

I once went to a Christmas fancy dress as Gary Glitter. I made an outfit out of Bacofoil and asked the barber to save me some cuttings, to make a hairy chest. But then on Christmas night on my way there the car broke down on the motorway. The looks i got off the Rac man.
