Rough heel solutions

Has anyone tried the Scholl or Pedi things for hard skin on feet?

It is not clear on the adverts I have seen if the Scholl one is manual or batteries/ electric

Would be interested to hear views of either of these as I need to get one and can't decide which one.

My wife has bought the Scholl one a couple of months back as she spends a lot of time at work on her feet and says it is one of the best things she ever did. Her one is battery and has a range of grit wheels from coarse to fine and combining it with foot lotion says her feet have never felt better.

Yes, I've just bought the scholl one and it's brilliant. I was very sceptical but found it on offer and decided to give it a whirl. Best product I've ever used on rough skin.

Thank you! I think it will have to be the scholl one then.

I bought the emjoi one, it seemed the best from the reviews and as it plugs in there is no need for batteries. My partner bought the battery version before i bought mine and he found it really went through batteries.

he has recently tried footner which are gel filled socks that you wear for 1 hour and over the course of the next week layers of dead skin peel off. Its the first time i have seen him with soft feet!

I have the Micro Pedi one. It is seriously one of the best things I have ever bought! I have had it about six months and not had to change the batteries yet. I love it so much I could write a poem about it! :rotfl:

Whatever one you get make sure you read the instructions. And after using it put loads of cream on your feet and put some socks on.

scrap it of with a pedi device and then go in a hot bath and scrap the rest ff with your nails, then use cracked heel cream a few times.

I've got the Scholl one and it is quite good, it takes a while to get through the rock hard stuff though. You could also try a chemical peel, it sounds scary but it is really easy. I have one called BabySilkyFoot from Korea (I buy from RubyRuby on ebay or BeautyNetKorea) and they are like plastic bag socks filled with fluid. You keep them on for about an hour then wash off and then think they have not worked but about a week later the dry skin peels off like a snake! It is freaky but really effective and cheap (about £4) and lasts all summer for me.

I've only used it once so far but my feet felt really soft afterwards.
