    That's true - and I can move to a fee-free 2-year fix at 1.99% which will probably save money over my lifetime tracker at 1.79% (currently) over 2-years.

    My concern is that there's no guarantee that fee-free options will be available when the 2-year fix ends - or they may be higher than fee-paying options by a more significant amount.
