Rubbish. She doesn't NEED to do anything. She can live her life exactly as she chooses. There are often consequences for such behaviour, which means the majority stick to the rules.
If she chooses to deceive the lender and risk repossession and criminal proceedings, that's her life choice.
She has already been told the risks. Stop judging.0 -

Gutted for you. Really rubbish timing. But!!!! if in doubt always come clean. Anything finance and insurance you can never give too much information and any info you do give has to be accurate or at least to the best of your knowledge.

I'd take the alternative role, go ahead with the purchase, then start looking for a new role. But that's just me.---
