So we DFWs' wave goodbye to June and the nights start drawing in !!!
As i posted last week i have had a serious case of 'fritteritus' which has knocked me off track a bit. Nothing serious but a timely reminder to keep a grip on things and watch every penny.
Upward and onward.

I got my LBM last week and have started sorting myself out. Contacted Stepchange and waiting for personal information pack and sent letters off to creditors explaining I was entering a DMP so I've gotta say I feel a bit better about the situation. Don't think feelings of guilt will go away anytime soon, I got myself into this mess but I couldn't carry on the way I was, robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Good luck with getting back on track.£12,432 - debt free February 2018 :j0 -
June had lots of ups and downs for me. I hit my 50% which felt great and I'm now in the least debt I have been since I left college in 2008!
But I have been struggling a lot with not spending, spent more than I planned to on holiday and just generally have been too lax in taking lunch to work and buying takeaways.
My plan for July is to get right back on track!Total debt at LBM = £4861.03
DFBXmas2018 #91 - £3342 / £3500 (95.4%)
HTB ISA - £0 withdrawn for house purchase!

Spent all of June (and April) with hardly any money after waiting for Tax Credits to get into gear. Today (1st July) they have finally sorted them out, so hopefully July will be a better month.
Have also been very tired this last month and have struggled with the tiniest of things, so hoping July will be a more positive month in every aspect.
Positive thinking!

June was my wake up call month, I ran out of money and credit. July is the most painful month I've ever had and it's only the 1st. All bills paid for in terms of minimum payments and rent but I'm 1250 over my overdraft limit. Going to be a tough month however, it's the first month I'm watching every penny each day, I'm selling things like the world is going to end and you have to be in the black to survive. If anyone knows of anyone needing a PHP developer to do some work I'll happily take on evening/weekend jobs around my main job.
It can only get better from here
