I suspect that your PC may be compromised.

No, they scanned my computer, didn't find anything, and unlocked my account.

I hate to say this OP, but I am a little suspicious about whether this is actually from FB. Are you confident that clicking on their link didn't add malware or a virus? I've done a quick Google about this and one discussion claims it is a scam:

The "hoax" on this one are the stories claiming it is a hoax when it is a genuine FB feature

They didn't give me a choice - I got completely locked out of my account until I did it. I've run a full anti-virus using my usual, and all's fine.
