Recommend an expat mortgage to buy in UK

Can anyone recommend a repayment mortgage for an overseas Brit, buying in the UK?
I've been in touch with one or two banks, but they seem to have some pretty tight constraints.
Standard Chartered for example (we're in Hong Kong), want a minimum opening balance of USD100k, and a property worth GBP400k+.
We wouldn't fulfill either of those requirements.
