UPDATE NOTE: 15 August 10.26 The logitech webcam has now gone up in price to £7 plus p&p. Amazon often change prices so it's worth checking back to see if it lowers again.

Amazon's now selling a well-rated webcam, made by Logitech, for less than £3. For that price, don't expect a flashy box or manuals, but it should plug in and work right away so this shouldn't be an issue.

Since it's sold by Amazon itself, the cam also qualifies for free delivery if it's part of an order over £15, so it's worth combining this with other things, or clubbing together with friends. Otherwise, it'll cost a shade over £3 on top to get it delivered.

Chances are this'll either sell-out or mysteriously change price soon, so get in fast if you want one.

Its got mixed response, no builtin mic and quality isnt brilliant from what people have said. Although tbh the price is very good

What do you expect even for the original price?

Logitech is an excellent brand and although it's probably only a 0.3MP type, it will serve well for such as Skype use.
