Hi all, i dont know if i am in the right area, however,

If you buy you own PPI and not the ones the bank sell you can you buy it for car finance as well as i have looked and it is a loy cheaper?

Anyone got any sites or know of anywhere that provides PPI instead of the banks as the banks put on £1000s

Thanks

    jenni,

You can buy Payment protection insurance or you can buy 'income protection' or 'accident, sickness and unemployment cover' which will pay you a sum for usually 12 months to cover your loan payment and other bills if you want.

Moneysupermarket.com has a price comparision service, although it may not be the whole market.

Generally it will cost about 75% less than the amount the banks or finance companies charge if bought with a loan!

    Good luck.
