Hi all
I've been searching but can't find a barbecue sauce recipe for pizza - what I'm looking for is the equivalent of Domino's Texas BBQ. I need it quite urgently if anyone is around who can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
Julia xx

Probably not OS, (but cheaper than dominos - I love the texas barbeque one!!) I just get a bottle of barbeque sauce and put a large squirt (say 1/4 bottle) in with a tin of tomatoes, some herbs and garlic than reduce it down until it's sticky and thick enough not to soak into the base. I use the same for meat too and it works fine.:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0

thats my favorite too, ive never even tried to substitute at home. Maybe you can email dominoes so they can tell you the ingredients, claim an allergy and they should let you have something

Then you can see the proportions of each ingredient and work out roughly from there. let mek now how you get on with an experiments you do!0 -
I did this once with a bottle of HP barbecue sauce, think it was a smoky flavoured one. It worked quite well and was similar to the Domino's one......0

Thanks for all your ideas - I've improvised a bit with tomatoes, puree, garlic, molasses, vinegar and Worcester sauce. I'll let you know what it tastes like!
