overpayment calculations

Hi all,
Been reading a lot of diaries on here and the success people are having and would like to do it myself.
A lot of people seem to have their mortgages in their online banking making it easier to see and manage their over payments and also for motivation to keep going.
Unfortunately, I don't think I have that option as my mortgage is with Cheltenham & Gloucester. I've tried ringing them but to no avail, anybody else know if it's possible?
Anyway, can I calculate my over payments myself or will I have to keep ringing c&g to find out my new balance?
Thanks.

Hi Freedom Fighter,
Mine was with C&G (got moved to TSB with the merger/split) I have online access, though I didn't realize this was possible until I took out a current account with them (5% up to £2000) and my mortgage was automatically added to the online account. So I would think it would be possible, perhaps go in to a branch to get an answer or keep on at them!GOAL:- £400k in Savings by March 2026 SAVINGS: – £392,504 COMPLETE GOALS - Debt Free, Mortgage Free, £350k Savings Save 12k in 2025 #41 = £26,026 / £25,0000 -
Hi juststuff123,
I opened up an account on sunday night with tsb to take advantage of that offer, I was going to see if the mortgage showed up online when I set up online banking.
However, I was passing a local tsb yesterday so popped in and managed to have a chat with the mortgage advisor. She took my details and put them into the computer which showed no mortgage with tsb.

Hi there
My mortgage is with. C and G ( was taken out when I had a LLoydsTsb bank account). My bank account moved to Tsb and mortgage stayed with C and G and my old tsb bank account became my online mortgage account ( I log in through lloyds and it's only my mortgage that shows). I didn't have to do anything it changed automatically ( same log in details). email or phone them!:rotfl:If it weren't for stress I'd have no energy at all. Hi ohmochraich,
I remember a couple of years ago my mortgage showed up on my Lloydstsb Internet banking account for a couple of weeks then disappeared. I rang c&g and they said it had crossed over to Lloyds, but Lloyds said it wasn't with them but still with c&g and that they don't do online banking.
