spam from UJM? alerts @ ukmgs.co.uk

Got the following email, on an account I tried to open a UJM account many months ago (application got stuck, so did again with another address..)

The fact its a .co.uk address rather than a .gov.uk one, makes me suspicious..

"Our records show that this email address (shown above) is currently registered against an active Universal Jobmatch account.
It’s been a year since you accessed the account and used it to search for jobs. If you would like to keep this account please take a moment to log in. If you do nothing the account will be disabled within 4 weeks.

UJM is outsourced to Monster.

It's common for sites to send out reminders for being inactive, although you would think they'd send it from a .gov address.

UJM was created by the same people who created the Monster job site though which, as ciaccino said, I believe is that email address.

If you won't be using that account then just ignore the email.
