Sorry for the slow reply/update, we were crazy busy in the run up to Christmas. Baby P is great, he is growing and progressing quite quickly and he will be 16 weeks old on Sunday.... where has the time gone!

I thought I'd update you all today on where we are and that it would be a good time to do it as a reminder of the journey when we look back in our MF future.

Our mortgage year started again on 23rd Dec so as I was off work, I called the BS and made our 2015/16 year OP all in one go. The 10% rule allowed us to pay £6643.09 off, which leaves us with an OS balance of £59832.90 today. Pretty good considering we started the year with the balance at £79554.98

My online statement also says that our total credits in the year was £22271.44 and our total interest charged in period was £2549.36.

2015 seems to have been a big year for everything in my life - new role at work, even better control over our finances thanks to this website and in particular, Mr Money Mustache and plenty of progress to being MF. The best of all though was the arrival of Baby P. I am quite a loving person but I never knew you could love someone that much!!!

Hopefully 2016 will be just as great for us and you all too... although it is unlikely that Baby P 2 will be on the horizon for us just yet!
