question around natwest occupier consent and postponement deed

Evening all. I've just received my Natwest Mortgage deeds to sign and return and with it, an Occupier consent and postponement deed.

The mortgage is solely in my name and the house will be occupied by my wife and I. Do we both need to sign the occupier consent and postponement deed or is it just the wife?

Also, if we both need to sign, can we both have the same witness?

Has your solicitor given you any advice on this? Usually you will sign the mortgage deed and your wife the occupiers consent form. I would defo give your solicitor a quick call tomorrow before signing to check about the witness as I would have thought that your wife may be advised to get independent legal advice before signing

Thanks. From what I see on the form it looks like anyone can sign it as a witness. She's not on the mortgage as she has only been in the UK since December 2014 and subsequently has no credit history here.
