I didnt get the overdraft!!

:j Hi Guys, for those of you that know me, and my recent posts, you will know that I was skint!!! Literally a fiver left in my back pocket!!
I was tempted to get an overdraft on my account, even knowing the pitfalls from my oh overdraft, but i was that broke i was considering it!!! Well instead I lent a tenner off my mum and a fiver off my bro, and have got meals in for the next 3 days so shud be good till i do my online shop on friday. Ive just received 70 quid from paypal by selling some crap on ebay. so in short, i DONT want or need the extra overdraft!!! OH is well chuffed coz we both didnt want any more debt but couldnt see a way out at the time. Thanks to you guys we got it sorted and are even in profit this week!!
Oh how I love this site!!!
Thanks to all those who helped me, you know who u are ;)

    Hi, Well done.

Its so easy to take the OD option and get further into debt. this MSE thing is gradual progress and it looks like you are on the right tracks. As long as you budget your money you will end up not having to borrow money at all.

    Keep it up ;)

    Yay to no OD :j

As for wanting to charge you £25 to borrow a small amount of money that you'd be charged interest on anyway...

  • I know!!! I couldnt believe it myself!!! Originally I wanted to get a 50 quid od, so that i wouldnt be charged stupid amounts when bills have come out of my account and made me go overdrawn, but after finding that out, Ive decided to look at ALL my bills and budget accordingly and make sure I have enough to cover them all so i wont get charged in the future. Hell i might even go 1 step further and keep 100 quid in there constantly!! u never know xxxxxx
