Aegon closing my pension fund

Had letter from Aegon to say that my Scottish Equitable Premier Balanced Pension Broker Fund is closing. I have had this pension fund for years and have not paid anything into it for a long time, as I have been at home caring for my disabled son. I can't make head or tails of what I am supposed to do next. Could anyone enlighten me?

Aegon have a selection of funds available. You just pick an alternative that fits your risk profile, timescale, knowledge etc.
Usually, the providers have a default alternative that is similar in risk and objective that they will auto move you to if you do nothing. What does the letter say?I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
This is, I presume, your fund.

As dunstonh says, they probably just want you to pick an alternative.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
Hi, Just as you have said, Aegon have said that if I don't respond, they will transfer my fund to their Growth Plus Select Portfolio, which is comparable. Thanks0
