Aegon closing my pension fund

Options
Had letter from Aegon to say that my Scottish Equitable Premier Balanced Pension Broker Fund is closing. I have had this pension fund for years and have not paid anything into it for a long time, as I have been at home caring for my disabled son. I can't make head or tails of what I am supposed to do next. Could anyone enlighten me?

Aegon have a selection of funds available. You just pick an alternative that fits your risk profile, timescale, knowledge etc.

Usually, the providers have a default alternative that is similar in risk and objective that they will auto move you to if you do nothing. What does the letter say?

This is, I presume, your fund.

As dunstonh says, they probably just want you to pick an alternative.

Hi, Just as you have said, Aegon have said that if I don't respond, they will transfer my fund to their Growth Plus Select Portfolio, which is comparable. Thanks
